🚛 Class 2 HIAB (Remote Grab) Driver – Scaffolding Deliveries | Ad-Hoc Shifts

📍 Location: Edinburgh

Are you an experienced HIAB Driver looking for flexible shifts and great pay?
Driver Hire Edinburgh City is recruiting Class 2 HIAB Remote Grab Drivers to support a leading scaffolding company on an ad-hoc, flexible basis.

Whether you’re seeking to top up your income or prefer the freedom to choose your working days, this is an ideal opportunity offering excellent pay rates and varied work.

💷 Pay Rates (Including Advanced Holiday Pay):

  • £17.59/hr – standard rate

  • £23.45/hr – overtime & Saturdays

  • £26.39/hr – Sundays

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a Class 2 vehicle fitted with a HIAB Remote Grab

  • Load and unload scaffolding materials (tubes, boards, fittings) to and from construction sites

  • Operate the crane safely and efficiently in line with regulations

  • Ensure loads are secured and on-site safety procedures are followed

  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and complete all necessary paperwork

✅ What You’ll Need:

  • Full UK Class 2 (Cat C) licence

  • Valid HIAB Remote Grab certificate (essential)

  • Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card

  • Ideally 12+ months’ HIAB driving experience

  • A reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach
