Joanne Nickisson-Jones - Stoke
Joanne Nickisson-Jones loves working for Driver Hire. She’s been part of the network for 12 years, both as an employee and franchisee. Her most recent move was to buy out her partner at Driver Hire Stoke and become the sole franchisee.
“I just enjoy the business,” says Joanne. “I’m really happy at work. Every day is different. And you have to be so many different things to different people. Drivers rely on you to find them work so they can pay the mortgage. Your next call could be from a client whose only concern is you finding them the right driver at the right price.”
Driver Hire Stoke is one of only two all-female offices in the network. But Joanne doesn’t feel that this has ever prevented them from winning business in a male dominated industry. “Thanks to Driver Hire’s regular updates and training, I’ve got as much knowledge as most of the blokes I go to see. I think they’re very impressed when I can handle all the questions they throw at me,” says Joanne.
Joanne definitely reckons that her Driver Hire franchise is going to be a good investment. “It requires a lot of hard work and a determination to succeed. But there’s no doubt that the rewards are there.”
