During peak periods, Jason is a regular tanker driver at Calor Gas’ Fawley Depot. One of his regular deliveries goes to a BHHPA development in Frimley near Farnborough.
Cast your mind back to last January’s blizzards. Jason was attempting to deliver essential gas supplies to elderly residents living on the park – without success. Their stocks of fuel were low and with no let-up in the freezing weather, the situation looked pretty dire.
So Jason and the Calor Gas team at Fawley decided there was only one thing for it; they would have to dig for victory. They set about clearing 150 metres of roadway, a task that took six hours. They then treated the roads with salt to ensure access for both residents and future Calor Gas deliveries.
The team’s sterling efforts were hugely appreciated by residents and the BHHPA and were rewarded with individual commendations.
