Driver Hire has won the Bronze award in the British Franchise Association’s annual ‘Franchisor of the Year’ awards, in association with HSBC.
The prize was presented at a glittering ceremony in Telford on 21st June, and confirms Driver Hire’s position as one of the UK’s most successful and respected names in franchising. Indeed, the company has been a finalist for seven years running, having won outright in 2006. This year’s Gold and Silver awards went to Autosmart and Home Instead Senior Care.
"Everyone at Driver Hire is delighted at this latest accolade," commented Chris Chidley, Driver Hire's CEO. "Our entry was built around the outstanding support, business innovation and growth that Driver Hire has achieved in the past year, and it is very satisfying to have the efforts of the whole team recognised in this way."
"We are seeing businesses challenge industry standards and employ ethical business practices in order to inspire future franchisors and franchisees. Our finalists are being recognised for doing just that," said Brian Smart, Director General of the bfa.
