An expanding haulage firm in Willenhall are hoping to gain planning permission for a new site in the town by the end of March.
Aspray24, which currently runs a fleet of around 400 vehicles, have been making plans for a new base ever since they bought additional land on the former George Carter Pressings site adjacent to their current premises in Park Road last winter.
According to newsrt.co.uk, an approval will reportedly create at least 30 new driving jobs in the Willenhall region. It has been described as "integral" to the firm's expansion plans.
Expressandstar.com report that Gould Singleton Architects have released an artist's impression of what the new £5 million building will look like if they get permission to construct it.
A statement submitted by the architects on behalf of Aspray24 read: "The proposals to redevelop the site are to enhance its commercial use and safeguard employment in the local area."
It is hoped that work to create the building can begin within weeks of planning permission being granted. The five and a half acre site has been empty since George Carter Pressing closed down in May 2009.
The new building marks Aspray24's 30th anniversary. They have been operating in Willenhall for the last 20 years.
