Clipper Logistics Group could soon be advertising for logistics work after taking on e-fulfilment contract with Shoedazzle.
Shoedazzle, the internet footwear retailer co-founded by reality TV star Kim Kardashian, has appointed Clipper as its sole UK e-logistics provider, meaning it is tasked with the receiving of stock from suppliers, providing the brand with warehousing and storage facilities, as well as dispatching orders to UK consumers via nominated third party parcel carriers.
It is hoped the association with Clipper, as well as airings of Kardashian's show on UK television can establish the US footwear brand on both sides of the Atlantic.
The business, established in 2009, centres around offering customers a variety of footwear on a monthly promotion cycle, as advertised by their stylists designed to make for a completely on-trend range.
Speaking to clippergroup.co.uk, operations director at Clipper Nigel Hinds explained: "We are delighted to have secured this contract as Shoedazzle's sole e-fulfilment provider, and we look forward to working with the retailer as its business continues to expand in the UK."
Adding, Shoedazzle's UK e-commerce manager Nigel Whiteoak told logisticsmanager.com: "Clipper is renowned for its UK e-fulfilment expertise, and with its extensive warehouse distribution network, it was the obvious choice for us as we set out on our new venture to conquer the UK online retail market."
