A new sat-nav application has been created with the aim of improving road safety and fuel efficiency amongst those in driving jobs.
TomTom's Active Driver Feedback makes fleet drivers aware of their fuel consumption and warns of any excessive steering or braking.
The new feature is expected to help save logistics companies money as well as improve HGV driver safety.
The release date for the new product is yet to be announced but is expected to be available throughout the whole of Europe before the end of the summer.
TomTom managing director Thomas Schmidt told hothardware.com: "We believe that empowering drivers is a key success factor in promoting a safe driving policy.
"The active feedback functionality truly puts the driver centre-stage in the quest by businesses to improve safety and efficiency on the road."
Another product from TomTom which will be of great interest to those in the logistics industry is the Webfleet Optidrive, which provides graphs and reports so logistics managers can easily evaluate their fleet of drivers.
Fuelcards.co.uk report that the Webfleet Optidrive will be able to provide information about speeds, fuel efficiency, idling and braking in one easy to read report so that managers can see how to improve their team.
