A selection of Europe's leading supply companies will be present for London's 121 Supply Chain Excellence Summit, an all day event centred around logistics training.
The event, taking place at Knightsbridge's Jumeirah Carlton Tower in Central London, is set to feature presentations from Coca Cola, Bausch & Lomb, Boots and British Gas, among others and is described by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) on cilt.org.uk as being "attended by the UK's most forward thinking and innovative supply chain and logistics leaders." It will take place on June 14th.
The brands giving speeches at the event will focus on supply chain case studies, offering methods of best practice and ways in which the industry can be bettered. The speakers will also give advice on their own methods of: driving flexibility and scalability into a network strategy, the building of strategic partnerships across the supply chain and finally how to maximise a business cost-to-service.
CILT chairman Paul Brooks is set to open the event and the keynote speech for the day comes courtesy of Mick Jones, vice president of global logistics computing firm Lenovo.
In a press release printed on centaurconferences.co.uk, the event is said to, "bring together the shippers and their partners to focus on new ways to solve the issues, both today and in the future."
Those wanting to secure tickets, however, will need to be quick as the event is selling out fast.
