A series of exhibitions which showcase the benefits of the franchising industry have arrived in Scotland.
To celebrate Scottish Franchise Week, members of the British Franchise Association (BFA) will be present at events all over the country which aim to promote the importance of the franchise industry to the Scottish economy.
The key event of the week is likely to be the Scottish Business Breakfast, which offers potential franchisers to network with business experts, politicians and media personalities.
The event, which will be held at The Hilton Glasgow Hotel this Wednesday, aims to teach all its guests about the fantastic opportunities within the franchise industry in Scotland.
According to whichfranchise.com, there are now over 2,000 individual franchises operating in Scotland. This figure is growing constantly and accounts for six per cent of UK franchising.
The BFA have stated that want to add an additional 1,000 franchises to that total within the next five years.
A source from scottishfranchiseweek.co.uk said: "The Scottish franchise market is one of the most vibrant in the UK. Franchising makes a substantial and growing contribution each year to the Scottish economy.
"Figures taken from the annual Natwest/BFA survey highlight that Scotland is seeing growth in not only the number of franchised units indexed on population but also in the implied turnover that franchising generates."
Other events occurring throughout the week include a golf day as well as a variety of seminars and social gatherings.
