The British Franchise Association (bfa) is now accepting entries for its 2012 Franchisor of the Year awards, Dailypost.co.uk confirmed.
The industry body is aiming to find the best UK franchising has to offer; celebrating its 23rd year in action. It means that everyone involved in the industry - from suppliers to franchise owners - have a chance to have their work recognised in the public forum.
"Each year the awards uncover the most remarkable success stories in franchising and the extraordinary people that drive these business, large and small, to greatness," the bfa's director general, Brian Smart, stated.
"The winners set high standards to inspire and motivate others across the UK to employ fresh and effective ways to achieve business success."
Those interested in entering themselves into the awards or nominating someone they admire have until March 30th 2012 to do so. Lucky winners will be announced at the formal awards ceremony on June 21st; an event supported by HSBC.
HSBC's head of franchising, Cathryn Hayes, suggested what she will be looking for in potential winners. Cited by Workingmums.co.uk, Hayes advised that showing support for any franchisees, utilising the brand to its fullest potential and implementing the right processes to support a franchise would be qualities favoured during the competition.
