The British Franchise Association (BFA) has opened the door for entries into its annual 'Franchisor of the Year' awards.
Within the UK, franchising is a popular option for many; and for those who have displayed an outstanding commitment to their franchised businesses, the annual awards create an ideal opportunity to celebrate.
Franchise businesses that have "innovated, expanded and ultimately excelled" over the past 12 months have been asked to nominate themselves, in a bid to see them recognised for their extraordinary achievements.
The ceremony - the 22nd of its kind - will take place on June 16th, and will award three categories to worthy partcipants. These will include 'The HSBC Franchisee Support Award', 'The BFA HSBC Franchisor of the Year Award' and 'The Express Newspaper's Brand Builder of the Year Award'.
Franchise Info has reported on the significance of the awards, claiming that: "Winning a top accolade carries huge business benefits, not just for the franchisor in being acknowledged as the best in the industry, but also in motivating the franchisees and their staff whose efforts are also celebrated."
Furthermore, the BFA believes the awards could help to inspire more Brits to start their own business, with its director general, Brian Smart, speaking out in favour of the ceremony.
"These awards celebrate the absolute best in franchising," he told The Franchise Magazine.
"The awards aim to inspire the next generation by providing a powerful and well-respected stage to demonstrate success and endorse those that are leading the way."
