Job Description
Royal Mail urgently need postal workers to deliver mail to domestic / commercial premises in the Bridgwater area. If you are looking for a new role or some extra work this is for you. This is a fixed term contract starting immediately for a 2 to 6 week period which potentially could lead to a permanent role for the right candidate.
You will be the face of Royal Mail in your local community, and work flexible hours to deliver exceptional customer service to their customers.
Your day will start in the local delivery office, sorting mail for your route, before joining a colleague in a shared van to start your round. Full training is provided on all aspects of the role to include operation of hand held computer devices to capture signatures etc. You will be completing your round on foot, don't worry there are no heavy bags to carry, you will have the use of a trolley.
You must be upbeat, self motivated and as happy to work on your own or part of a team working flexible shift patterns. What ever the weather the mail has to be delivered so you must be prepared, come rain or shine. Due to the nature of the role there is a lot of walking involved.
Hours & Pay
2-6 week fixed term contract
£8.00 per hour (PAYE)
Accrued holiday for hours worked on PAYE
5 days per week

Key requirements
Full UK driving licence with Cat B entitlement
Proof of 5 years work / education history
Proof of the last 5 years home addresses
