About Us
The Driver Hire Franchise in Hull has been operating for 12 years. During this time it has established itself as a respected supplier of quality staff to the logistics industry.
In 2006, the business was bought by John Fraser. Since then turnover has grown significantly and we are now the preferred supplier to many of Hull's most established haulage operators, manufacturing businesses and courier firms.
We maintain a simple philosophy:

Our Service Team
Stef Cook
With 11 years service, Stef is the longest standing member of the team. Stef is responsible for the allocation of drivers and assignments. Payroll, very important, keeps her busy at the beginning of the week and credit control is always ongoing. When its all going pear shaped! You can rely on Stef to maintain a level head and sort it out.
Outside of work, Stefs passion is Egyptology.
Andy Beadle
Responsible for business development, Andy is always out and about maintaining customer relations and searching for new business. When meeting with businesses, Andy takes very seriously the need to understand customer requirements. As a qualified Class I driver, he will not hesitate to get out and actually do the job in order to understand exactly what the job involves. This is always useful in order to feed back to our regular drivers.
In his earlier career Andy was an awarding winning DJ and once hosted the Miss Blackpool competition.
Stuart Thompson
Legislative compliance is an area at which Driver Hire excels. Possibly not the most exciting role, but Stuart is always working behind the scenes to ensure that our customers have confidence when choosing to use our service. Tacho management, WTD monitoring and licence checks all fall to Stuart.
In his spare time Stuart once built a plane! A real one and he flew it.
John Fraser
As the owner of the business, John sets the targets and provides assistance in all areas. Driver standards and training are key areas for attention as well as all those other things that are part of running a busy small business. As a qualified Class II driver, John has often been spotted out driving if a regular customer requires a driver in an emergency.
When not managing the business, he provides a taxi service for his kids!
