We raised £1,718 for Children in Need

18 November 2011

On Friday 18th November the Wilson Gibb branches of Driver Hire once again supported the BBC's Children in Need appeal and this year we raised the magnificent total of £1,718 – which is a record amount for us to raise!

This was pledged during the show on Friday night and went towards the total of £26,332,333 that has been raised so far from right across the UK.

Whilst every branch contributed to the total special mention must go to Kelly-Ann from our Grangemouth branch who went around her customers dressed as Marge Simpson and raised nearly £200 in the process.

Also, we'd like to thank the many people that popped in during the day with money and drivers like Peter McCarron who donated £20 when handing his weekly timesheet on Monday morning.

Finally, Driver Hire Group Services donated £400 once again and we are very grateful for their continued support ijn all of our efforts.

Below are a few pictures from the day  - Barry & linda in the office - Barry in the kingdom centre - the team in Grangemouth - and Leeann & Toni from payroll with Pudsey himself.
