Record Performance in December 2012

12 December 2012

With just 2 weeks gone in December it’s already been a month to remember for Nicola and the team in Edinburgh West, as they haven’t just broken their record performance figures once – they’ve done it twice!

The week ending Sunday 2nd December saw them place 3% more staff into customers than at any other time in their previous 17year and then weekending 9th December saw this new record get trounced by a whopping 27%.

To put that into context, that’s more than 30% more people in work already in December than they’ve ever had before, which, considering the current ‘economic climate’, is a remarkable achievement.

The challenge is finding these extra members of staff hasn't been easy, as Nicola herself says “we’ve had a busy few weeks recruiting the right people, but so far the time and effort we've put in has paid off.

We're always methodical in checking who we recruit before placing them on contracts and our customers appreciate that. Likewise our staff apprecitate we go the extra mile to keep them in work”.

However, the team isn’t resting on their laurels as resourcing consultant Lisa Ferris adds “We still have loads of vacancies, especially for C+E drivers and experienced 'Multidrop' drivers, plus we've some contracts offering guaranteed hours, so anyone interested should certainly give us a call."
