Drivers CPC Course
21 March 2011
Driver Hire have organised another 1 day drivers cpc course at their training room in the South Gyle, Edinburgh, within easy reach of the City Bypass, Forth Road Bridge and the M8 & M9 motorways.
Starting at 08.00 on Saturday 16th April the course will cover driver’s hours, working time and tachograph/digital tachograph use in the morning.
The afternoon will cover hazard awareness, seasonal driving techniques and safe & secure loading techniques.
For more information on what will be covered during the day please contact your local branch and we'll be happy to assist.
The trainer for the day will be Jim McEwen, who has run a number of Driver Hire courses in the Central Belt and is a current C+E driver, alongside being an approved trainer of vocational licences and driver’s cpc.
On completion of the course, every attendee will have 7 hours of driver’s cpc training logged with the DSA and will also be issued with a certificate of attendance from Driver Hire.
This training course will count as 7 hours towards the 35 hours of training that every commercial vehicle driver must have completed by September 2014.
The feedback from previous courses has been excellent, both regarding the content of the course and the value for money that Driver Hire can offer.
Indeed 100% of the drivers that have completed this course would recommend it to their colleagues.
If you would like to book a place on this course please contact your local office ASAP - current driver hire staff & customers get a discount for all dcpc courses.
If for any reason this course doesn’t suit (due to date, content or location) please contact your local branch and we will keep you up to date with other courses that may suit your requirements.
