Job Description
We are recruiting for a Transport Manager on behalf of one of our clients.
Your role will involve:
- Managing a small fleet of Vans, Class 2 and Class 1 Vehicles
- Maintaining compliance with O-Licence requirements
- Ensuring that Vehicle and trailer maintenance is carried out in accordance
with company policy
- Ensuring that Driver's Hours & Working Time Directive is complied with
- Managing a small team of drivers
- Arranging training for drivers
- Arranging Back loads for vehicles where possible
- General planning duties.
- You may occasionally have to perform driving duties on the Class 1
You will need:
- National CPC Qualifcation
- Class 1 HGV Licence, digi card and Driver CPC card
- 5+ Years previous Transport Management experience
- Excellent personell management skills
Salary on offer: £36,000
