As a people business, we thought you might like to know a bit more about the people you will be dealing with when you contact us.

Jim Richards: Franchiseee
Jim has been involved with the transport industry for over 40 years as a Class 1 driver and also in management. He hails from Guisborough in North Yorkshire and has lived in the West Midlands for 27 years.He started with Driver Hire in 1993 as a Class 1 driver and moved in to the office in 1995 and bought the Birmingham Franchise in 2001.He has a wealth of experience in the transport industry and has driven for many of the clients that we deal with today.
   Jim is also our Trainer, training both our own drivers as well as our clients drivers keeping them up to date with all current legistration.he is also qualified to deliver all of our Driver CPC Modules

Tee Chaggar: Business Development
Tee has nine years’ experience in industrial recruitment, the past six with Driver Hire. Initially a recruitment consultant, Tee now concentrates on developing our core recruitment business and spreading the word on Driver Hire’s popular Driver CPC training offer to both existing and potential new customers. 


Caz Smith: Office Administration Manager
Joining Driver Hire Birmingham Central in 2003 as Administration Manager having previously spent a number of years within The Customer Service Industry, positions including Retail Management. And is a qualified Trainer/NVQ Assessor at the Isle of Wight College.
My duties include weekly Payroll and Invoicing, to ensure that our drivers are paid correctly and our customers invoiced accurately, processing starters and leavers, holiday pay and SSP.
I complete all administration tasks to ensure the smooth running of the business and to comply with ISO standards.
